Erik Reinhold

Erik Reinhold was born in 1962 in The Netherlands were he has worked in different levels of the construction business. He came to Costa Rica in 1993 and became a property manager for a group of US landowners. He has worked closely, and successfully, with the US embassy in resolving conflicts affecting those properties and has build homes in the Southern Zone. In 1998 he became the first General Manager for the Lomas de Carara project, one of the largest real estate developments in CR, measuring 105 hectare and representing a multimillion dollar investment by a foreign investment group. He was actively involved in all matters relating to the development and has a hands-on style of management. Mr. Reinhold left the Lomas de Carara project in 2003 and is now a managing partner of R&G S.A.

Hans Goudsmit

Hans Goudsmit was born in 1962 The Netherlands. After finishing the Hotel School in 1983 he became involved in renovation-projects as well as real estate in general in the Amsterdam City area. He came to Costa Rica in 1994 were he works as a realtor. He is co-founder and co-owner of La Garita Realty and managing partner of R&G S.A.

Scott MacDougall
associate partner

Scott MacDougall was born in 1963 in the United States, and began his professional real estate development career in Toronto, Canada in the late 1980’s. Scott came to Costa Rica in 1992 with a Canadian based development company and was the co-manager of a 110-unit villa project. After successfully selling out the project, Scott and two partners began their own construction and real estate company. In 1996 Scott accepted the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for the highly successful Los Suenos Resort and Marina project, Costa Rica’s only fully amentized coastal community development. Scott left Los Suenos in 2001 to return to help co-manage and develop a 60-acre estate lot development in the Playa Hermosa area in Guanacaste. Presently, Scott is responsible for the management and development of two lot developments and a condominium development. Mr. MacDougall is an associate partner of R&G S.A.
